Straddling the Daunian Mountains, the Gargano, the Land of Bari and the Gulf of Manfredonia, the Tavoliere delle Puglie is a flat area with alternating hills and plains that slope down towards the coastline and where you can admire endless crops of high quality wheat and corn.
Characteristic are the ancient sheep-tracks along which the shepherds transferred their livestock from the mountains of Abruzzo and Molise to the luxuriant pastures of the Tavoliere, and there are many places untouched by the great tourist flows of Apulia, all waiting to be discovered.
